Sari Braithwaite

Sari BRAITHWAITE (Australia) is a documentary filmmaker. Her films have screened at festivals around the world. She received an AFTRS Creative Fellowship in 2015 to create her first feature-length work, [CENSORED], which won Best Documentary at the Chicago International Film Festival in 2018. Braithwaite has also made a video installation for a permanent collection in Melbourne, commissioned by the Australian Centre of the Moving Image (ACMI). She made her most recent film, Because We Have Each Other (2022), over five years in collaboration with a neurodiverse working-class family.
