Sara SOWELL is an artist and filmmaker who works with pre-existing images and expanded cinematic forms. Her work has been shown in international film festivals, artist-run spaces and galleries, including Underscore, Milwaukee; Microscope Gallery, New York; CROSSROADS, San Francisco; The Nightingale, Chicago; The Wexner Center, Columbus; Deluge Contemporary, Victoria; Baltic Analog Lab, Cēsis and The Film-makers’ Cooperative, New York.
