Santosh Sivan
Santosh SIVAN (India) is a cinematographer, filmmaker, producer and actor known for his works in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi cinema. He trained at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India. His feature directorial debut, The Terrorist (1998) – released in the United States by the actor John Malkovich – brought him a great deal of national and international attention and several awards. He has worked as a cameraman on dozens of productions. He is founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC)and is the most awarded Director of Photography (DOP) in India. Sivan also became the first cinematographer in the Asia-Pacific region to join the membership of the American Society of Cinematographers.
