Sam Drake

Sam DRAKE (US) is a filmmaker based in Milwaukee. Her work has been exhibited at film festivals and venues including The Museum of Modern Art, IFFR, Media City Film Festival, CROSSROADS, Alternative Film/Video, Collectif Jeune Cinéma, Non-Syntax Experimental Image, Winnipeg Underground Film Festival, Transient Visions Festival of the Moving Image and Antimatter. She has programmed for the Union Cinema and Mini Microcinema and is currently a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her film Terminal Island (2024) screened at IFFR 2024 in the Tiger Short Competition. She returns to IFFR with the short film Suspicions About the Hidden Realities of Air (2024).
