Ryan A. White
Ryan A. WHITE was born in Big Sur, California, and is a documentary filmmaker whose award-winning films have screened around the world. He spent four years in Hanoi, Vietnam, working as a film advisor for the World Wildlife Fund’s Greater Mekong Program, then relocated to Bangkok, Thailand, where he produced and directed two documentary features, Camp Unity (2010) and Mondo Banana (2013). Other documentary credits include Cruising Elsewhere (2016), co-directing Dirt McComber: Last of the Mohicans (2018), producing The Organic Life (2013) and associate producing Pray Away (2020) and Out Run (2016). White also lectures in the Department of Communication at California State University, East Bay and the Cinematic Arts & Technology Department at California State University, Monterey Bay.
