Robert Tjalondo

Robert TJALONDO (1975) an internationally recognised Dutch-Indonesian photographer, based in Rotterdam, who studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU). Known for his ability to capture the essence of diverse cultures and people, Robert is currently leading the groundbreaking project ‘Faces of Rotterdam’. For the first time in the city’s history, his project aims to photograph and interview every nationality that is represented in Rotterdam – over 170 in total. This ambitious endeavour celebrates the rich diversity of the city and will culminate in a unique presentation of faces and stories in 2025.
