Rémi Bezançon
Rémi BEZANÇON (1971, France) is a filmmaker and screenwriter. He studied at the École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle (ESRA) in Paris and at the École du Louvre. He made his feature debut with Ma vie en l’air (2005). He achieved major critical and public success with Le Premier Jour du reste de ta vie (2008), which received nine César Award nominations. In 2011, he directed Un heureux événement, adapted from the novel by Éliette Abécassis. He then co-directed the animated feature Zarafa (2012) with Jean-Christophe Lie. His latest film, Bazaar (2026), is the Closing Film of IFFR 2026.
