Qali Nur
Qali NUR is a journalist, filmmaker and podcast maker based in the Netherlands. With a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences and an MA in Migration and Diaspora Studies, her work focuses on questions of belonging, migration, conflict, human rights and politics. She has worked as a researcher on the documentary series In Europa for Dutch public broadcaster VPRO. In 2021, she co-directed the documentary Between Mountains and Wars/Između Planina i Ratova, which premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and directed the short documentary Children at the Border for the journalist collective Lost in Europe. Her audio documentary My Family in Gaza (2025) was produced for NTR DOCS. Her film Inn a State of Siege (2026) continues her engagement with contemporary political realities.
