Phoebe Nir

Phoebe NIR is a filmmaker, writer and theatre artist based in New York. She attended the Writing for Performance studies programme at Brown University and holds a MA in Drama Therapy from New York University. As a Presidential Scholar of the Arts in Writing she has been received at the White House by President Barack Obama. Additionally, she is a member of the Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship. Her musical theatre projects have been showcased at many art venues in New York City. Besides Nir’s work in writing she released two EP’s: Side Hustle and Red Tape Nation. IFFR selection, Eco Village (2024), is her first feature film.
