Paz Fábrega

Paz FÁBREGA (1979, Costa Rica) studied still photography and journalism before going to the London Film School. She graduated in 2006 with the short film Temporal. That same year, she founded her own production company Temporal Films. Cuilos (2008) was nominated for a Leopards of Tomorrow award at Locarno Film Festival. She released her feature debut Agua fría de mar in 2010, and the film premiered at IFFR and won a Tiger Award. Viaje (2015) became the first Central American film to premiere at Tribeca Film Festival.
