Payal Kapadia

Payal KAPADIA (1986, India) is a film director and screenwriter. Her film Afternoon Clouds (2017) was the only Indian film selected for the 70th Cannes Film Festival, while A Night of Knowing Nothing (2021) earned the Golden Eye award for best documentary film at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. She is also a winner of the Grand Prix at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for her film All We Imagine as Light (2024).
