Patrick Muroni

Patrick MURONI (1993, Switzerland) is a Swiss director who graduated from the cinema department of the Lausanne University of Art and Design. Winner of the artistic encouragement prize from the city of Renens during his studies, he went on to direct Un matin d’été, his first self-produced fiction short film, selected in 2020 at Locarno and several festivals around the world. He went on to make his second fiction short, Les Sentinelles, which was also selected at various international festivals. Ardente·x·s or Fierce: A Porn Revolution (2022) is his first feature-length documentary, selected at Visions du Réel in 2022 and released in Switzerland and Germany. In 2024, he presented Rave, a virtual reality project about rave parties, as part of the international selection at GIFF. At the same time, he wrote a new short film and his first feature-length fiction film.
