Nuhash Humayun
Nuhash HUMAYUN (Bangladesh) is a writer and filmmaker with a love for combining genre with South Asian identity.
A self-taught filmmaker, Nuhash wrote, directed, coproduced and edited the
multi-Oscar nominated short film Moshari (2022), which won the SXSW Jury Award
as well as 10 awards at HollyShorts, Fantasia, Atlanta, Melbourne, Short Shorts among others. His supernatural anthology Pett kata shaw (2022) was selected for IFFR 2023. Humayun is a Sundance Screenwriting Fellow and has also received support
from Berlinale Talents, Film Independent, the Hollywood Foreign Press, the Alfred P.
Sloan Foundation, Cannes Marche du Film and ScreenCraft.
