Nino Martínez Sosa

Nino MARTÍNEZ SOSA (1976, Dominican Republic) received his education in Cuba at Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión, where he graduated as an editor. After working in the editing department of the same school, Martínez Sosa moved to Spain where he began a fruitful career as an editor, working on several award-winning and nominated films and documentaries such as Las horas del día (2003), La soledad (2007) and Yo, también (2009), all screened at IFFR. He also taught classes and gave lectures and conferences at several film schools and art centres. Liborio is his directorial feature debut.
