Mohammad Touqir Islam

Mohammad TURIQ ISLAM (1994, Bangladesh) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and cinematographer. He began filmmaking as a teenager and later studied at the Asian School of Media Studies in India. As the founder of Footprint Film Production, his work spans short films, web series and documentaries. He has also served as a jury member for the International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh. His projects include the web series Shaaticup (2022) and Sinpaat (2024). His debut feature Delupi (2025) portrays the socio-political landscape of contemporary Bangladesh.
