Mikhail RED (1991, Philippines) is a prolific independent filmmaker and the current CCO of Evolve Studios, a production company focused on evolving Filipino genre cinema. His diverse filmography ranges from critically acclaimed social dramas like Birdshot (2016), which won Best Film in the Asian Future section in Tokyo and was selected as the official Filipino entry for the Oscars, to genre-bending features such as Eerie (2018) and Deleter (2022), the highest grossing horror film from the Philippines. Red has also directed projects for international streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon.
