Michael Heindl

Michael HEINDL (1988, Austria) lives and works in Vienna and Scharten. He studied painting at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the NCAD in Dublin. The possibilities of art in public space is a key aspect in Michael’s work, influenced mainly by things and phenomena in modern society, the threat of ecological catastrophe and the idea of inescapable capitalism. He usually realises his projects in the form of targeted actions and interventions. He has received several art awards and has participated in multiple exhibitions and film festivals.
