Melvie Arslanian

Melvie ARSLANIAN (1953, Lebanon – 1998, USA) was a writer and film director, born in Lebanon and raised in Belgium. She studied Philosophy and Letters in France before moving to New York, were she obtained a degree in Cinematography. Stiletto/Lunch (1981) was her feature debut. Three years later she directed her second feature, Fading (1984). Arslanian passed away in 1998 at the age of 45.
