Madeleine Hunt-Ehrlich

Artist and filmmaker Madeleine HUNT-EHRLICH (1987) is based in Brooklyn. Her work mainly focusses on the inner worlds of black women. Her projects have travelled to international art venues including the Berlinale, the Biennale di Venezia, the Guggenheim Museum and the Tate Modern. Her films have been awarded special jury prize for best experimental film at Blackstar Film Festival and New Orleans Film Festival. Her feature film debut The Ballad of Suzanne Césaire (2024) premieres at IFFR 2024.
