Lauri Luhta
Filmmaker Lauri LUHTA (1980, Finland) is based in Helsinki and studied history, philosophy and theology. He has been working together with his partner Jenni LUHTA since 2015 when she became a co-organiser of the live art forum he founded, Là-bas. Together they found a new approach to their work, concentrating on creating virtual artefacts like experimental, visual-cinematic videos using a digital collage technique. Suomen henki/The Spirit of Finland (2017) is their first project using that approach. Moses (2024) is their second feature film and is selected for IFFR 2024.
