Kaweh Modiri
Kaweh MODIRI (1982, Iran) has lived in the Netherlands since 1988. He majored in Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam and graduated from the Image & Language department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, also in Amsterdam, with the short film Mijn inbreker en ik (2011). He published his debut novel in 2012, titled Mr. Sadek and Others. In 2016, he released Bodkin Ras, his first feature film, with a premiere at IFFR. His second feature, Mitra (2021), also premiering at IFFR, followed his eponymous novel published in 2020.
