Katarzyna Latałło

Katarzyna LATAŁŁO (1924–2009, Poland) was an animation film director, painter and graphic artist. She studied painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and began working in animation in the late 1950s. From the early 1960s, she collaborated as a director and set designer with several Polish animation studios, including Se-ma-for and the Studio of Animated Films in Bielsko-Biała. Alongside her film work, Latałło was active as a visual artist and illustrator, participating in national and international exhibitions. Her animated films for children received awards at festivals in Poland and abroad, contributing to the development of Polish animation cinema.
