Kaouther Ben Hania
Kaouther BEN HANIA (1977, Tunisia) is best-known for her film Beauty and the Dogs (2017) which was selected as the Tunisian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards. She attended the École des Arts et du Cinéma(EDAC) in Tunisia and studied at La Fémis and the Sorbonne in Paris later on. The Man Who Sold His Skin (2020) received a nomination for Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards. Four Daughters (2023) is selected for IFFR 2024.
