John Swab

John SWAB (1988, United States) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and producer born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Having run away from home at the age of fifteen, Swab lived on the streets amongst criminals for many years, becoming addicted to drugs. Now clean, his past experiences are often recurring themes in his films which foreground topics such as abuse, crime, addiction and redemption. Swab is also keenly interested in painting, photography, cooking and thrifting.
