Joaquín León

Joaquín LEÓN (1983, Spain), is a director, graphic designer and music producer from Sevilla. He has been directing commercials and music videos since 2006, when he was a finalist at the MTV Awards. His musical career began in 2004 with independent bands, and currently he produces electronic music and soundtracks. He was selected as ICAA Talents Andalusia at the Cannes Film Market in 2022. He won the first Prize Versión Española RTVE award for his short film Endless heat (2022), programmed in numerous international festivals. His latest short film La Sangre (2024) has received the XVI
Screenplay Award at the Seville European
Film Festival and premieres at IFFR 2025.
