Ique Langa
Ique Langa is a Mozambican filmmaker and multidisciplinary storyteller. After studying Visual Communication at The Open Window Institute in Pretoria, South Africa, he worked for two years as a freelance videographer and animator on a range of projects. His practice spans filmmaking, poetry, drawing and painting, with a focus on surreal and emotionally resonant narratives. In 2024, his feature project O profeta was supported by the Final Cut in Venice at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, marking an important step for Mozambican cinema internationally.
