Htoo Lwin Myo
Htoo Lwin Myo’s (1983, Myanmar) first filmmaking project as a participant filmmaker, the short documentary On Hteedan Road, was screened at 2013 Watthan Film Festival. In 2018, he founded Pink Bear Production and produced education reform themed short videos. In 2020, he made his first short docu-fiction film A Song of Trishaw with financial support from Goethe institut Yangon. The film was chosen as part of the competition section in the 5th Seashorts Film Festival 2021. In 2022–2024, he has made a second short film project, A Silent Page, with financial support from Memory! Cinéma Association. A Silent Page was chosen to be premiered in the Asian Perspectives (Short)programme at the 19th edition of Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival. He has been featured twice at IFFR’s Cinema Regained programme with No Magic for Socialists (2024) and Time Will Not Tell (2026).
