Hanna Hovitie
Hanna HOVITIE (1991, Finland) is a film director and artist whose work ranges from fiction to documentary to media art. She holds a BA in Cinematography and Editing from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Finland and an MA of Arts in Documentary Directing from the International DocNomads Joint Master Degree Program based in Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. Her films have been screened at several major film festivals, including DOK Leipzig, Sheffield Doc/Fest and Melbourne International Film Festival. Her short film To Feather, to Wither (2020) was awarded a Special Mention at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival in 2020.
