Guita Schyfter
Guita Schyfter (1947, Costa Rica) obtained her degree in psychology writing a dissertation thesis on the treatment of phobias. Afterwards while training at the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University in Great Britain she shifted her interests and with a British Council grant took the Television Production and Directors Course at the B.B.C. in Shepard’s Bush, London. On her return to Mexico she worked at Schools Television and made nineteen audiovisual programmes for the National Archives of Mexico.
Later on directed documentaries and produced plays for the theatre.
