Giulio Bursi
Independant filmmaker, film curator and dramatist Giulio BURSI (1978) is based in Berlin. He followed an education in Film Theory and started as an assistant director, before directing his documentary feature debut J’écoute! in 2007. He has collaborated with international institutions and film festivals, such as Venice Biennale, Film Forum and Festival du Nouveau Cinéma. Giulio Bursi and Pia Bolognesi have worked together as Atelier Impopulaire since 2012, making installations and other works, such as the short experimental film The Leaks of Venice (2020).
