Gabi Dao
gabi dao’s films and interdisciplinary artistic practice is invested in how human entanglements with (super)natural worlds shape notions of belief and belonging. They have screened and exhibited their work at E-flux Screening Room (US), BFI London Film Festival (UK), London Short Film Festival (UK), Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin (CA), Radius CCA (NL), The National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa, CA), The 36th Ljubljana Biennale: The Oracle (SL) and the Vincom Centre for Contemporary Art (VN). In 2025 they were a participant at the Jan van Eyck Academie. They are currently based in Rotterdam.
