Florent Hill

Florent HILL (1990, France) grew up in Nice, where he first trained as a judo competitor before turning to literature, theatre and cinema. After completing a Master’s degree in law at the University of Oxford, he studied acting under Raymond Acquaviva in Paris and later collaborated with Irina Brook at the Théâtre National de Nice, developing projects in underserved neighbourhoods. He has performed on stage, in films and on television. Alongside acting, Hill writes and directs short films, often exploring intimate and poetic stories. His short Slurp (2018), made without dialogue, features his grandmother in the lead role.
