Ester Martin Bergsmark
Ester Martin BERGSMARK (1982, Sweden) trained at the Biskops Arnö Nordens Folkhögskolade and the Swedish University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. Together with Mark Hammarberg, Bergsmark made the award-winning documentary Maggie in Wonderland (2008). In 2010, Bergsmark made Fruitcake as part of the experimental feminist porn suite Dirty Diaries. She Male Snails (2012) won the Audience Award, Prize for Best Cinematography and Honorary Mention for Best Nordic Film at the Gothenburg International Film Festival. Something Must Break (2014) was screened all over the world and won many awards, including a Hivos Tiger Award. At IFFR 2018, Swedish Candy, Some Violence and a Bit of Cat had its world premiere. The short film Instinct (2019), directed with Mad Kate, Marit Östberg and Adrienne Teicher, premiered at the Berlin Porn Film Festival.
