Donna Read
Donna READ (Canada) is a director and editor known for her influential contributions to feminist documentary cinema. She is best known for the Goddess Trilogy produced at the National Film Board of Canada, exploring women’s spirituality and suppressed histories. Her body of work is marked by a commitment to documenting women’s stories, collective memory and cultural transformation. Her work is featured in IFFR 2026 The Future Is Now Focus.
