Dick Verdult
Dick VERDULT (1954, Netherlands) is a Dutch filmmaker, radio producer, musician and artist. His films have screened at IFFR on a number of occasions, including short film Good Morning, mrs. Kisses (1991). His interest in Latin American folk music – specifically cumbia – has resulted in several albums under the moniker, Dick El Demasiado. His life and work was also the subject of a 2017 documentary, Dick Verdult – Het is Waar Maar Niet Hier. His most recent film Als uw gat maar lacht has its world premiere at IFFR 2023.
