Dan Geesin

Dan GEESIN (1970, UK) is a filmmaker, musician and visual artist whose work spans film, sound and visual art. Drawing on a wide range of influences, his films explore the tragic and comic ways people communicate, shaped by a lifelong love-hate relationship with both the city and the countryside. His storytelling often carries a melancholic undertone, tempered by a distinctly British sense of humour. Working across fiction and short-form cinema, Geesin creates character-driven works that observe everyday life with irony and restraint. His latest film Een Mislukt Eerbetoon aan Moederliefde has its world premiere at IFFR 2026.
