Cihad Caner
Artist Cihad CANER (1990, Turkey) is based in Rotterdam and is currently a resident artist at the Rijksakademie Amsterdam. In his works he considers the politics of the image through the mediums of video, music, motion-capture and CGI. While making a research-driven practice his leitmotif, Caner explores the themes of (re)presentation, language, marginalisation and alterity. So far, his work has been exhibited and screened at Akademie der Künste, Hong Kong Arts Center, TENT, Kasseler Kunstverein, Blitz Malta, and EYE Film Museum.
