Christophe Hermans

Christophe HERMANS (1982, Belgium) is a screenwriter, casting director and filmmaker based in Belgium. Since 2017, he has been a lecturer at the University of Liège. He graduated in filmmaking from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion with his graduation film Poids Plume (2005), which earned multiple awards and was screened at numerous film festivals worldwide. His works consist mainly of short films and documentaries with occasional fiction films. He has been an assistant director on several films. His films have been screened at various film festivals worldwide, including Tehran International Short Film Festival, Molodist in Kyiv and Interfilm in Berlin. La ruche (2022) is his first feature film.
