Chiemi Shimada
Chiemi SHIMADA is an artist and filmmaker based in London. Her work explores memory, intimacy, liminal states, climate and late-stage capitalism through moving image and installation. Working across film, performance, and exhibition contexts, she develops projects that combine personal narratives with broader social and ecological concerns. Her work has been presented internationally at film festivals and cultural institutions including Open City Documentary Festival, Courtisane Festival and San Sebastián International Film Festival.
