Chaerin Im
Based in Los Angeles, CHAERIN Im (1994, South Korea) is an experimental filmmaker who explores themes of gender and sexual imagery in her short films. She studied Visual Communication Design at Seoul National University, graduating in 2017, after which she obtained a master’s degree in Experimental Animation at CalArts in 2020. She was also the recipient of the 2021 GLAS Animation Grant, which she used to make I Am a Horse (2022).
