Bikas Ranjan Mishra

Bikas RANJAN MISHRA (India) is a filmmaker and screenwriter. His debut feature Chauranga (2016) was released to critical acclaim, winning awards at the Mumbai Film Festival and the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA).
His short film Dance of Ganesha (2011) premiered at the 16th Busan International Film Festival, had its European premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and was later presented at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. Mishra has also directed Pagla Ghoda (2017). He is a recipient of the Hubert Bals Fund for script development.
In 2025, his new film Bayaan, supported by the Hubert Bals Fund and presented in the Darkroom programme at IFFR 2025, starring Huma Qureshi, had its world premiere in the Discovery section of the Toronto International Film Festival.
