Baptiste Bogaert

Noëlle BASTIN (1991) and Baptiste BOGAERT (1990) are a Belgian filmmaking duo based in Brussels. They use the lens of cinema to reflect
on today’s world. Through the specific form of each film, they seek to
see and hear everything that makes up this time we live in, what creates
it and how it shapes them. They like to straddle the line between
fiction and documentary, where fiction is a tool for showing what’s
real: what’s really happening. For the same reasons, their films are
often characterised by sequence shots and regular collaborations with
non-professional actors. Alongside their films, they also design video
installations.
