Ariane Labed
Ariane LABED (1984, Greece) is a Greek-French actress and film director. She studied drama at Provence University, where she co-founded the Vasistsas theatre company. At the 67th Venice International Film Festival, she was awarded the Volpi Cup for Best Actress for her feature film debut in Attenberg (2010). She starred in Yorgos Lanthimos’ films Alps (2011) and The Lobster (2015). She made her directorial debut with September Says, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
