Angelica Ruffier

Angelica RUFFIER (Sweden) is a screenwriter and director raised in France and based in Sweden since 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in Documentary Directing from Stockholm University of the Arts. Her project A Face to Be Loved was one of three winners of the Swedish Film Institute’s Wild Card in 2023, supporting new directors developing their debut feature, and was also part of the Film Stockholm Debut programme. The project has been pitched at Nordic Talent Pitch, Cannes Docs as part of The Five Nordics showcase, and Nordisk Panorama Forum. Ruffier has directed, edited, and produced several short films, and her debut feature La belle année is premiering at IFFR 2026.
