Amauta García

Amauta GARCÍA (Mexico) is an artist and filmmaker who has been collaborating with David Camargo since 2011. They live and work between the Netherlands and Mexico. Their works have investigated the impact of housing market bubbles and urban extractivism. Bringing in elements of architecture, sculpture, video, and virtual environments, García & Camargo tell stories that are at once personal, social, and political. Their work has been exhibited in Mexico, the Netherlands, Germany, the USA, Georgia, and Cuba.
