Alexe Poukine

Alexe POUKINE (1982, France) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and actress. After taking drama classes, she studied anthropology, documentary directing and scriptwriting. Her graduation documentary Petites morts (2008) was selected at various film festivals and her subsequent documentaries Dormir, dormir dans les pierres (2013) and Sans frapper (2019) have won numerous awards at prestigious festivals, including the Jury Prize for most innovative feature film at Visions du Réel. Palma (2021) is Poukine’s first fiction.
