Alexandre de La Patellière
Alexandre DE LA PATELLIÈRE (1971, France) is a French screenwriter, playwright, director and producer. He began his film career as an assistant director, then as a script-doctor, before becoming a feature film director. He joined Onyx Films and started working with Matthieu Delaporte on writing Renaissance (2006), directed by Christian Volckman. Their collaboration gave rise to numerous projects, both in series and feature films. In 2005 he co-wrote and produced Delaporte’s first feature film La Jungle (2006). He co-directed Le Comte de Monte-Cristo (2024), which premiered in Cannes and has its Dutch premiere at IFFR 2025.
