Adrián García Bogliano

Adrián GARCÍA BOGLIANO is a Spanish-Argentine filmmaker, screenwriter and producer based in Mexico, known for his work in independent horror cinema. Born in Madrid to Argentine parents in exile, he later moved to La Plata, where he studied Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. At 19, he directed his debut feature Habitaciones para turistas (2001), which won numerous international awards. He went on to direct Grité una noche (2005), 36 pasos (2006), No moriré sola (2008) and Masacre esta noche (2009), consolidating his reputation as a distinctive voice in contemporary horror. He is the founder and partner of the Mexico City-based production company Salto de Fe. His new film, Hablando con extraños/Talking to a Stranger, has been selected for IFFR 2026.
