Tunisia. In a tiny, remote town, lives Alyssa: a restless 19-year-old girl dreaming of a better life. When the opportunity arises to start anew in Europe, she convinces her friend Medhi to join her. Determined and hopeful, they set off – but their journey is more dangerous and unpredictable than expected. When old traumas resurface, their close friendship is put to the test.
