Cannes 1981: a woman is trying, and most of the time failing, to access screenings and press conferences. Her film festival takes place mainly in the comforts of a fancy hotel room. The woman is famed French actress Bulle Ogier, and it seems nobody recognises her. Arguably the most sardonic vision of the vanity fair that is every major, market-driven film festival, as well as a sobering look at the reality of celebrity.
